We’re happy to welcome another bi-monthly show‘: ’Bar Jerusalem" is a newborn event series in Lithuania, orchestrated by Akvilina and Onis. It's dedicated to the ethnic and experimental sounds ranging from the Middle East to the rest of the world, gathering its most obscure phonic inspirations. The city of Jerusalem is known for its multicultural importance and a thick veil of mysticism - these both characteristics echo strongly in the event cycle.

Each mixtape of the series will tell a new story and guides through a different journey, full of cinematic sound and eclectic music. Akvilina is kicking off this bi-monthly show on Mutant radio, and their weekly parties with Onis are already going on Kablys club on Thursdays. Dive in!

Olaf Pilestein is a producer and music selector who showcases experimentations in sound that stretch the borderline between comfort, discomfort and throb. Originally from Grantsville, Pennsylvania, Pilestein grew up a pianist who lived a simple and lax life which in turn made her look for more. She then moved to Germelshausen, Germany to study psychiatry in the town’s mental institution. The contrast of lifestyles is something that defines her sonic landscape and noise selection.
